Gaye Rowley

When Gaye Rowley (some know her as Dawa) was four years old she nagged her parents into sending her to Sunday school. She’s been curious about all forms of spirituality ever since.

Gaye has completed numerous three-month and one-month retreats, and attended countless classes, urban retreats, courses, and weekend workshops. She has studied and practised with many inspiring and skilful teachers in the Namgyal lineage including Namgyal Rinpoche, Sayadaw U Thila Wunta (Rinpoche’s first Buddhist teacher), Chogye Trichen Rinpoche, Cecilie Kiwat, Tarchin Hearn, Leander Kane and many others. She was instrumental in helping set up the Queenstown Dharma Centre, and has been a Caretaker at the Wangapeka Centre.

You’ll find Gaye is a warm, authentic, approachable teacher, with a unique and often humorous perspective on making spirituality a practical tool for everyday life.
